VPN-1 Appliance Security Administration

Course Overview

This two-day hands-on training program provides training on how to install, configure and manage the high availability, high performance and load balancing features of the VPN-1 Appliance (Nokia IP400, 200 family product line).

You will gain a thorough understanding of concepts and implementation of high availability, fault-tolerant firewall solutions and learn practical tools and techniques to manage and administer it. You will learn to:

  • Install Nokia IP400 and VPN 200 family with Check Point FireWall-1
  • Configure a range of options and interfaces for performance and load balancing
  • Learn to define static and advanced routing
  • Monitoring the performance of the firewall solution
  • Implementing encryption, authentication, Network Address Translation and VPN
  • Deployment of VRRP and state table synchronization
  • Trouble shoot and manage the solution
